The Time Has Come: Mercury Machine’s Album Launch 16.02.2019

It’s the event you’ve all been waiting for: Mercury Machine will release their self-titled debut album on 16th February 2019. They will be celebrating with a very special launch gig and after show party at the cool as fuck Night People on Princess Street (in partnership with with Ticket Alien , Scruff of The Neck and Light & Noise Productions ).

Mercury Machine are joined by Methods: A Wolverhampton/Salford based dark indie electro five piece , whose recent single ‘Fires’ was features on BBC Introducing West Midlands; Subjects: a three piece alternative indie rock band from Manchester, who cite the influence of The Arctic Monkeys, Royal Blood and Bring Me The Horizon; and ambient experimentalist Altered Archipelago, a solo act, also from Manchester.

Kicking off the Year at the Royal Standard in Sheffield 11.01.2019

Mercury Machine will be starting the new year with their first ever gig in Sheffield! We’ll be playing The Royal Standard Pub on Friday 11th January 2019 7pm , alongside some of the UK’s best upcoming musical talent: You Want Fox , described by I’m Not From London Records as a punk-rock post hop-pop grunge band girls want to be and boys want to be in; Two Of Substance , an alternative Rock Band based in Runcorn who cite Kurt Cobain and Dave Grohl among their influences; and Bodach , who describe themselves as a two piece 432hz durge worship from Rotherham. Come along and help us kick off 2019 in style!

Power of Love Cover Out On 14.12.2018

Long before a certain Dalton Harris / James Arthur duet, Lee Maguire of Mercury Machine had created his version of the Frankie Goes to Holywood original, The Power of Love. The X factor winner may have beaten Lee to the release, but if you don’t like X Factor (or even if you do) and you like your 80s Christmas ballad covers a little on the darker side, then fear not, Mercury Machine’s Power of Love is out now! Have yourself a dark and synthy Christmas Machine heads!

Watch Mercury Machine Untamed! at Rebellion 28.11.2018

Mercury Machine will follow up their recent single release, with a slot at the regular Untamed! event at Manchester’s home of alternative music, Rebellion. They will be joined by the  unapologetically charismatic Stand Alone, the awesome metalcore quintet Portrayal of Ruinn, the exceptionally heavy Oceanis, and the progressive metalcore male / female vocal combo Syntropy.  Doors open at 7pm, with Mercury Machine kicking things off, so get down early! Tickets £3 on the door.

 

New Single ‘Age of the Machine’ Out On 16.11.2018

Mercury Machine have been busy working on the upcoming release of their new single ‘Age of the Machine’, which will be available on iTunes on 16th November!
